JAQUETA PARA COBRECES

Cobrecés, Spain, is a small village along the northern coast. It’s paradise. There are mountains, beaches, animals all around, and amazing food. Best of all, there is my family. I dedicated this jacket to a collage of memories I hold close to my heart.

Assigned to create a color palette from an image, I chose this one because it shows the vibrant mix of oranges and blues:

I was drawn to using the colors to create monochromatic scenes, hand-stitched on the back for a homemade journal feel.

I added the Cobreces symbol and the colors of Spain along the arms to connect my culture visually.
